Tharg's Future Shocks

Untitled Prog. 614 21st Jan 1989 Script by Hillary Robinson Art by Kevin Walker

Earth from space...

When man first called this world 'home' it was fresh and new and beautiful...

Life was abundant in the air, on the land and in the sea.

It is now longer fresh and new, but it can still be beautiful...

Sometimes.

Man is poisoning the air, killing the animals and polluting the seas.

Soon there'll be no one left but man. He does try hard to limit his numbers...

But soon it will too late for eagle, panda and the whale...

And when man has destroyed this world and all the creatures on it. What will we do then?

Seek out strange new worlds and new civilsations.. and destroy them...

Boldly go where no man has gone before... and pollute it?
